Transformation Programme and Planning Manager

Salary: £61,409 - £67,959 (additional 28.97% pension contribution into defined pension scheme and benefits)
Location: flexible
Terms: FTA for 18 months with view to extend, full time

This role will support the Transformation Programme Director and business leads in delivering the 'One FLS – Fit for the Future' programme, overseeing programme planning, project delivery, business change and benefit realization. The Programme and Planning Manager will manage the day-to-day delivery of outcomes, mitigate risks and provide hands-on support to teams and their Executive Leadership Team leads.

The Planning and Environment Manager is a key role, responsible for providing environmental expertise to inform land management planning and programming of future works on Scotland's national forests and land and includes significant project work which requires senior management collaboration and representation. The role will also provide leadership, direction and support to teams working within the planning and environment function across the region, as well as taking lead on environmental work.

This post holder will lead a team of Wildlife Rangers and support the Area Wildlife Manager in achieving the region's cull targets and venison sales. Responsibilities include interpreting cull data, browsing impact reports, deer density assessments and population modelling to manage current and future culls.
