Did you know that Scotland is home to ten of the 17 bat species living and breeding in the UK? …
We are currently felling trees infected with Phytophthora ramorum at Cruach Tairbeirt. There are also road building works taking place. Please be aware of timber trucks and construction traffic on the forest road network.
Please remember to clean wheels, boots and paws before and after visiting the forest to help us 'Keep It Clean'.
These pretty woods nestle above the pass through which warlike Norsemen once land-hauled their longships from Loch Long to Loch Lomond. Today, the secluded hillside is perfect for finding some peace.
