Glenachulish Hydro Scheme
Lochaber Environmental Group (LEG) have requested a lease to install a water intake, pipeline route and turbine house for a community-owned 544kw hydro scheme on the Abhainn Greadhain Burn in Glenachulish. This will generate renewable energy and support LEG’s purposes to benefit the community of Lochaber and help and encourage everyone in Lochaber to reduce their impact on the environment.
