Shannochill land management plan
Shannochill land management plan
Shannochill Land Managment plan was approved by Forestry Commission Scotland in March 2016 following a full consultation with local communities and statutory stakeholders. Approval is for a ten year period from 2016 to 2026. This is a new acquisition and will demonstrate best practice in broadleaved silviculture and integrated land use. We expect to plant approximately 16ha of the site in 2017/18 using a mix of native and non-native broadleaved species.
