Blackcraig land management plan
The forest of Blackcraig is situated at the south-east end of Strathardle close to the village of Bridge of Cally, Blairgowrie. It occupies the north facing valley side from Cochrage Muir in the south east to Blackcraig Hill in the north-west.
The forest sits entirely within the Breadalbane Environmentally Sensitive Area and is surrounded on its Western and Southern margins by the Forest of Clunie Special Protection Area
This plan has been through public consultation and was approved September 2011. The plan covers a 10 year period from September 2011 to September 2021.
From time to time it is necessary to make amendments to the approved plan, these will be submitted and approved through the appropriate channels and maps will be updated at the next review.
A mid-term review was carried out in May 2016 to look at the plan and its objectives.
