Drummond Hill is a very important landmark in the area and is viewed by local communities and passing traffic in all directions and from a considerable distance. Its position at the mouth of Glen Lyon and the head of Loch Tay create great visual impact and its long association with managed forestry and nearby Taymouth Castle means that this forested hill helps create the sense of place for the area.
