Ardross Land Management Plan Consultation
We are currently carrying out a full Land Management Plan (LMP) revision to help us determine future management proposals for the Ardross LMP. This revised LMP will detail how we intend to manage this land over the coming 10 years and will indicate our vision for the next twenty five years and beyond. The revision will cover Stittenham, Dublin, Glaick, Strathrusdale, Dam Wood and Garbhan Rock, and will cover an area of approximately 2133 hectares.
Through the new plan we will be seeking to address issues around productive conifers, tree health, riparian woodland and peatland restoration as well as making sure that the forests provide future economic and social benefit to residents and that ecological value is retained and enhanced.
The deadline for initial scoping comments is the 31 April and we would be pleased to hear from any interested parties during this stage of the plan. Based on these comments a new LMP will be drafted which will be consulted on in August 2021. If you have any comments please send them to us using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
