Delivering forests and land that Scotland can be proud of
We are currently developing the first Corporate Plan for Forestry and Land Scotland. The plan will set out the direction of travel and priorities for the organisation over the next three years. It will also describe how FLS as an executive agency of the Scottish government will manage the nation forests and land in a way that helps support the delivery of the national outcomes set out in the National Performance Framework.
The public consultation on the plan closed on Friday 5 July. We are now considering the responses and aim to publish the final Corporate Plan in October 2019.
The Corporate Plan for our predecessor organisation, Forest Enterprise Scotland (FES) sets out how we delivered public benefits from the National Forest Estate (now known as the national forests and land). It also explains how they contributed to the Scottish Government’s aim of "creating a more successful country, with opportunities for all of Scotland to flourish, through increasing sustainable economic growth". This document details the FES priorities for the period 2017 - 2019.
