Important

Many of our destinations have been affected by Storm Bram. Please follow all local signage and check ahead of visiting for local closures.

We are prioritising tree clearance work based on immediate danger and/or access issues.

Two adult ospreys were at the nest this morning and there appeared to be a little alarm displayed by one of the birds (possibly Mrs O?). She flew off leaving the other adult sitting on the perch on the left-hand side. One egg was clearly visible but the other two could not be seen. We are hoping that is just because of the camera angle and the eggs are safely obscured by the twigs at the front of the nest.

Mrs O returned swiftly and landed beside the egg, appearing a little unsettled and agitated. She was flicking her wings and gazing skywards.

The eggs are due to hatch any time from today onwards, so it will be worth checking the live camera over the next few days for some happy news.
