We occasionally lease our unused land to new entrants to agriculture to help them gain experience of managing their own small-scale farm business. Find out our current opportunities and how to apply.
As well as starter farms, we also offer grazing opportunities to new entrants to agriculture. These small business units help new farmers build up their experience and stock numbers.
If you are a farmer or landholder, you may be able to lease your land to us so we can plant new productive woodland. Find out more about the scheme works and whether it's right for you.
We are major suppliers to the wood-panel, pulp and paper and saw-milling industries, as well as emerging wood-energy markets. A third of our produce is sold on the open market. Purchase sawlogs, round fencing, firewood, hardwood and softwood here.
