Tweed Valley Osprey Project Co-ordinator, Di Bennett, brings us the latest update from the nest.
The Galloway Hills Motor Rally takes place on Saturday 10 September, and whilst the forest drive remains open, there will be an increase in traffic in the area while the event takes place. Stay safe and be careful.
Off the beaten track, this site provides easy access to the Talnotry walking trail, the 7stanes Big Country route and The Eye sculpture located beside the loch. It is also a great place to view the night sky due to the lack of light pollution experienced at this location.
The nearest town is Newton Stewart, about 9 miles away, which has public toilets, shops and cafes.
Motorhomes and campervans that are self-contained and have their own toilet facilities will be able to stay overnight at this car park from 1 April – 31 October 2022.
To help plan your stay, please see the details below:
Please visit our Stay the Night page for full details, participating locations, best practice, and terms and conditions of use.
