The Glenscorrodale Land Management Plan is an extensive area of conifer plantation on the moors either side of the Ross road just south of its summit between Lamlash and Kilmory on the Isle of Arran.

This plan details how the area will be managed for the ten years between 2020 and 2030, following extensive consultation with stakeholders.

Timescale

  • May 2018: Initial consultation with Arran Forest Environment Panel.
  • March 2019: Further consultation with Arran Forest Environment Panel.
  • March/April 2020: Public consultation via FLS website and consultation with neighbours.
  • Summer 2020: Land Management Plan submission to Scottish Forestry as part of LMP approval process
