North Sutherland Community Forest Trust has submitted an asset transfer request to purchase 40 hectares of land at Rosal Clearance Village, for the preservation, interpretation and promotion of the clearance village and other historic sites for locals and visitors, including improving recreational infrastructure, guided walks and schools visits, enhancing interpretation and promotion, developing opportunities for community volunteering, and employing a Community Development Manager.

Anyone may make representations about this request to Forestry and Land Scotland. Representations must be in writing, preferably by email, and include the name and address of the person making it.

A copy of the representation will be given to the organisation making the request.
