Important

We're still assessing the impact of Storm Eowyn; surveying the extent of the damage takes time for our staff to complete. Please continue to check the website for updates and follow all onsite signage.

The objectives for Camilty Forest have changed significantly over the period of the previous plan. Multi-functional forestry and a greater diversity of land management practices are now more commonplace when managing the National Forest Estate. The aim of the new Land Management Plan is to strike a balance between commercial timber production, wider environmental considerations and carbon sequestration. The plan was formally approved in March 2019 and is scheduled for renewal by 2029.
