Contract terms and conditions

We purchase goods and services using standard terms and conditions of contract. There are various standard terms and conditions.  For purchases of goods and services up to £50,000 the following short form versions will apply unless otherwise specified.   We use long form standard form versions or bespoke contracts for more complex requirements.

Contracts will be awarded through Public Contract Scotland (PCS).

For works contracts we primarily use industry standard contracts such as NEC4 (New Engineering Contract version 4)  or JCT (Joint Contracts tTribunal) or  Scottish Building Contract Committee (SBCC).

Purchase Orders

These Purchase Order Terms and Conditions (PDF) will apply when a purchase order is issued without reference to another set of terms and conditions.
