Argyll Beaver Centre, Barrandaimh
The Heart of Argyll Wildlife Organisation (HAWO) has submitted an asset transfer request to purchase 0.52 hectares of land at Barrandaimh, including the buildings housing the Argyll Beaver Centre, opened in 2017. HAWO intend to further develop the wildlife ranger and environmental interpretation, education and information centre and community space, including space for visiting schools and other groups, facilities for wildlife visitors and local people, and restoring the land to wet meadow status.
