Ochtertyre Moss Wood Land Management Plan

Ochtertyre Moss Wood Land Management Plan is a new 10-year plan for the management of the 96.45 hectare (ha) site to the west of Stirling acquired by FLS in 2022. The plan area lies 7 kilometres to the north-west of Stirling and is close to the hamlet of Blair Drummond. The main entrance is located at Ordnance Survey grid reference NS 7432 9729. This land management plan provides detail on how we aim to manage the existing woodland and priority open habitat of the Ochtertyre Moss SSSI. It was approved by Scottish Forestry on 25th of July 2025 following consultation with a range of stakeholders.
