Slattadale SCIO has submitted an asset transfer request to purchase 0.58 hectares of land at Slattadale for a sustainable off-campus outdoor education facility for the benefit of the Gairloch High School Associated School Group’s 3-18 community. This covers the areas from Shieldaig in the South to Laide and Dundonnell in the North. It will be used for various educational activities, such as outdoor learning and rural skills, with environmentally sustainable permanent/semi-permanent structures to be installed over time.
