There is a very high risk of wildfire in the south and west of Scotland from 24 to 25 April. Please plan ahead and check online before visiting.

Forestry and Land Scotland’s team in Fife will not be opening the Christmas Tree sales centre at Blairadam this year.

With more and more outlets selling trees over the past few years, fewer people have been visiting FLS’ sales centre and it has become uneconomical to continue.

Andrew Clark, Regional Visitor Services Manager for FLS said;

“We know that  our not being there this year will be a disappointment to people, including those loyal customers who’ve been visiting us for years.

“The good news is, a local contractor will be operating the Kinnoull Hill sales site this year, so a festive forest visit will still be possible in Perth.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the customers that have supported the sales centre over the years.”

The next nearest FLS Christmas Tree sales centre is at The Lodge Forest Visitor Centre in Aberfoyle.
