Things to do

The forests we look after are fascinating, beautiful places to explore. Whether you're planning a family day out or looking for a place to bring the dog, there's something for everyone.

Visiting with animals

Animals are welcome in the woods. Dog owners should follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code’s (SOAC) guidelines and take full responsibility for their animals’ behaviour.

When visiting with animals remember to:

  • pick up after them
  • keep your animal under control or on a lead - this is important when there are wildlife or livestock present

Help us keep our forests clean and leave them as you find them.
