Our Stay the Night scheme runs right through the year. This means self-contained motorhomes and campervans can park for one night in participating car parks.

Parking notes

Car park on slight slope - levelling blocks recommended. Please leave a 4m gap between other motorhomes and do not block the gate beyond the car park. Entry/exit can be tight in large vehicles.

Blue green algae alert

Please be aware that there is an increased possibility of blue green algae being present in Loch Eck.

This occurs naturally in bodies of water during hot and dry periods.

We are asking visitors and their pets to not enter or drink the water, as this can be very toxic to dogs and potentially harmful to people. If you come into contact with the algae, wash the affected body part thoroughly and seek medical advice.

Getting here

There are two car parks with picnic facilities along the east bank of Lock Eck on the A815. Jubilee Point can be found approximately half way along the loch.

PA23 8SG is the nearest postcode.

We are aware of issues with some SatNav leading people to the West side of Loch Eck. There is no vehicluar access to West Loch Eck either from Glenbranter, or Benmore.
