Lochalsh Woodlands Land Management Plan

The Lochalsh Woodlands Land Management Plan (LMP) expired on 7 July 2026.

A new Long Term Plan (LTP) will be consulted upon and produced during the second half of 2026. As with the expired LMP, this new Plan will cover our Balmacara and South Strome forests - an area of approximately 2,777 hectares and will contain detailed management proposals for the next 10 years.

The documents and maps listed on this page therefore relate to the recently expired Plan. A new Plan consultation is due to begin in August 2026 and details of this will be made available on this website's 'All Current Consultations' section.
