Panoramic views over the Cuillins and Loch Eynort

You can explore Glen Brittle from two directions depending on what you want to do. Our car park is located within the quiet Glen Eynort. Here you’ll find a kayak launch and access to the Eynort Loop. This pleasant lochside trail has excellent bird spotting and some unusual tree species.

The upper part of the loop has views across Loch Eynort.Look out for estuary birds feeding on the mudflats and sea eagles fishing. You can venture further on a great circuit of forest roads over the Bealach Brittle to the other side of the hill.For superb views over the majestic Cuillin Ridge.

The other access point is from the community-owned car park in Glenbrittle. This is near the Fairy Pools. This is one starting point for those planning on climbing the Black Cuillin. Be aware these demanding mountains will challenge you physically and mentally.You should only consider this if you are fit, experienced and fully equipped.
