Forth Mosses Land Management Plan
Forth Mosses Land Management Plan
Following extensive analysis and consultation, the land management plan for Forth Mosses was formally approved by Perth and Argyll Conservancy in August 2024 and is scheduled for renewal by August 2034.
Forth Mosses Land Management Plan combines the management of Flanders Moss (~970 Hectares), and Cardross forest (~147 Hectares), into a single new 10-year plan.
The Forth Mosses land management plan will see the continuation of the objective of lowland raised bog restoration at Flanders and minimal management input at Cardross to retain its current biodiversity as outlined in the previous plans.
