The following notices are in effect at this location.

  1. Tree disease

    You will notice Braeval has changed because of felling. Due to the increase in larch disease (Phytophthora ramorum) we have had to fell all the larch in Braeval. The site will be restocked soon with a diverse selection of tree species.

  2. Forestry works

    Harvesting at Braeval is complete and trails and car park are open. However, there are still some minor forestry works happening around the site.

Ticks can carry Lyme disease, which can lead to long-term illness. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them quickly.
