Just outside Stirling, this quiet conifer forest is a good place for a jog or a walk with the dog. There are fine views of the wide Forth Valley from the top, with Stirling Castle dominating the countryside around.
There are places to eat and public toilets in Stirling, about 3 miles away.
There is no charge to park at this woodland. Please park with care and consideration, and do not block pedestrian and vehicles access points.
Halfway between Stirling and Gargunnock on the A811, follow the turning to the south signposted to Cambusbarron/Touch Business Centre. The forest entrance is about ¼ mile along this road on the right. There is parking space for about three cars.
