Quiet woodland walks next door to Dumfries

This woodland is on the doorstep of Heathhall village, just a short drive from Dumfries. It’s criss-crossed by many informal paths that you’re welcome to explore. This is a great place to enjoy a woodland picnic, easy walks and short bike rides along its tree-lined paths.
