As an executive agency of the Scottish Government and under Part 9 of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, we’re a corporate parent.
As a corporate parent, we’ve obligations and responsibilities towards children and young people with care experience. However, we also want to make sure that wherever possible we extend our responsibilities to everyone who has a care experienced background.
