The Assich, Laiken and Ferness Land Management Plan (LMP) was approved by the Highland and Islands Conservancy on the 17th of November 2023. The new LMP covers the Assich, Laiken and Ferness forest blocks – an area of approximately 1087 hectares – and contains detailed management proposals for a period of 10 years (the approval expires on the 16th of November 2033).
