Aros Park

The following notices are in effect at this location.

1. Forestry works

   Due to essential tree felling works, vehicle and pedestrian access to Aros Park using the main entrance will not be possible weekdays from the end of May to early June for a period of 7-10 days. We will update with exact dates once timings are confirmed.

2. Lochan Trail

   The access road and all trails are affected by storm damaged trees. Sections of the trails are closed and care is advised with assessments ongoing. 

3. The Waterfalls Trail

   The access road and all trails are affected by storm damaged trees. Sections of the trails are closed and care is advised with assessments ongoing.

Open water

There is open water at this site. Watch children closely, wear a life jacket if you go in the water, and do not drink alcohol near or in water.

Ticks

Ticks can carry Lyme disease, which can lead to long-term illness. Check for ticks after your visit and remove them quickly.
