Community groups can apply to purchase facilities and buildings for community purposes. This could include the provision of camping and recreation facilities, the creation of forest schools, or shared-use community spaces.

Communities of interest

Community groups with special interests can purchase facilities to provide supporting facilities. For example, watersports storage facilities, museum and visitor centres, and conservation spaces.

Community woodland crofts and housing

Community groups can purchase land to create opportunities for housing, industry and associated community benefits.

Community hydro leases

Community groups can purchase land or request permission to install community hydro-electric schemes.
